Day on the beach

August 17, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Hello Lovely followers!

Today’s post is about one of my favorite handmade jewelry shops,  The Dainty Pear. The Dainty Pear has unique, engraved jewelry pieces that I know you are going to love.

My bracelet has Ellie’s birthday, and my necklace has Ellie’s name engraven. These pieces are so special to me. They are something I will cherish forever. If I am ever blessed with another child I am going to have The Dainty Pear create me another necklace and bracelet with the child’s birthday and name. This is so I can have a “family” bracelet and necklace set. I’m super excited about this idea, I almost want to have another baby right now so I can act on it. Well.. Not that excited, but close!;)

The The Dainty Pear is such a cute shop. I love how you can personalize each piece of jewelry. It makes the accessory so much more meaningful. These necklaces and bracelets are something that you will keep forever.

As you can see, I wear my bracelet and necklace everywhere, even while playing on the beach. They are everyday pieces that match everything.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Keep on smiling:)

Fall Floral

August 09, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Hello Beauties! Hope you are all having a fabulous week and enjoying your last weeks of summer.

Today’s blog post is all about transitioning that summer floral dress into a fall look. This cute black floral dress is from BBStyled. I paired the dress with this tan suede hat and lace up flats. I love pairing black with neutrals. It creates a soft sophisticated look that is perfect for those Fall months.

BBStyled is having a killer sale that is going on their floral dresses! I promise you do not want to miss out on these offers. This dress was originally $59.99 and is going for $29.99! These deals are to  sweet to pass up, especially when they are such transitional pieces.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week! Kody, Ellie and I are going somewhere fun tomorrow. Wish us luck with taking Ellie on her first plane ride! Follow me on Snap @brianamariefash and Instagram to keep up with our daily adventures:)

Modern 50's

August 03, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Good Morning Lovelies!

I hope this post finds you well. This week has been crazy busy. Kody, Ellie and I are officially moved into his parents beach cottage. We will be living there until December and then we will move back to St. George, so Kody can finish his last semester of school. If you follow me on Snap you seen a glimpse of the cottage, but I will make sure to post photos of it soon!

So, today’s look is 50’s inspired. I’m such a fan of the 50’s classic style. I often wish I could go back in time so I could be apart of such a fashionable era.

This classic skirt is from the cute boutique Emerson Elm. You can follow them on Instagram @shopemersonelm.

Pioneer Day Celebration

July 28, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Hello Lovelies!

How is everyone doing? I’m throwing today’s post back to our event filled weekend!

It was Utah’s Birthday Celebration on the 24th. The 24th of July is the day that the pioneers settled Utah, so we call it Pioneer Day. There are always parades and rodeos during the 24th weekend. It is one of my all time favorite celebrations!

Our weekend was kicked off by throwing my lifelong best friend a bridal shower. We have been next door neighbors and best friends our entire lives. It was so fun to catch up with her along with my other childhood friends in honor of her special day.

As soon as the bridal shower was over, the “Lemon clan” (my family) raced up to the Holden church ball fields to play co-ed softball. It was a blast playing against our neighbors and friends. Plus we won, so that made it more fun;)

After the softball games the outdoor movie started. The outdoor movie is such a cute tradition. The entire town comes to the church park to watch a movie on a huge blow up screen. Kody, Ellie and I enjoyed snuggling up in blankets watching Wreck it Ralph.

The following morning is when the real festivities started. It was time for the parade and the Holden town breakfast! My family decorated a “Cowboys and Indian” float. Ellie and Remmie (Ellie's Cousin) dressed up as Indians, while Trackan and Benson (Ellie's Cousins) dressed up as Cowboys. They all looked so adorable! After the parade we went and ate a yummy breakfast. I had the famous homemade scones which were delicious! We then watched Ellie's cousins participate in the bottle rocket contest, foot races and the annual Holden Town Homemade Ice Cream Contest.

The Holden festivities ended, so we headed for Salt Lake City to watch the Days of 47 Rodeo. We had front row seats and had a blast watching the bull riders and barrel racers. Ellie loved every second of the rodeo and would jump and kick every time she saw a horse run bye.

As you can see, our weekend was extremely busy but so fun! I love spending time with my family in my hometown. Definitely a weekend for the record books.

Country Life

July 25, 2016 by Briana Smith

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Since I have recently gained new followers I am going to use this post to introduce myself. Hopefully, I won't bore you with a brief bio;)

My name is Briana Marie Smith. I grew up in Holden, UT a town of 300 people at the base of Utah's best mountains. To say it is a small town is an understatement. Holden does not have a store, gas station or stop light, but it is the prettiest small town, filled with the worlds best people.

I graduated from Millard High School and attended Dixie State University where I received my Bachelors Degree of Communication.

I met Kody the summer before my senior year. He left on an LDS Mission three months later. I waited faithfully for him to return and let’s just say he was well worth the wait! Kody and I were married December 27, 2012. We had our first child last November. Her name is Ellie Claire Smith. She is such a joy and light in our lives.

We reside in St. George, UT throughout the year and live in Delta, UT during the summer. This is so Kody can attend school at Dixie State University and work for his parents construction business during the summer.

Kody, Ellie and I love the country life. We are all about the outdoors. Our family time is spent, target shooting, fishing and riding horses.

Even though I am a country girl, fashion has always been a passion of mine. Creating outfits to relay a message is what I am truly passionate about. I have started the Briana Marie Fashion blog, so I can share my passion and love for fashion with you!

Thanks for following, your support means so much!
