Bringing Style to St. George →

April 07, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Did you hear that KSL named St. George, Utah’s Best City! This did not surprise me. St. George is a beautiful city. The weather, culture, and lifestyle is like no other. I’m so grateful it has become my home for the past five years.

With that being said… Anyone who lives here or has visited knows the shopping is not so amazing..Thankfully, it is getting better! Especially, since the Blue Linen Boutique has moved in.

The Blue Linen Boutique has brought style to St. George. It is located in the Red Rock Commons . If you are in St. George, or driving through you need to stop in. You will be happy you did because the boutique is darling!

There is nothing better than a classic t-shirt dress, especially when you add a tie blouse. I really like how the blouse ties in the front and is long in the back. It makes the outfit unique. This outfit is great because you can dress it up or dress it down. I chose to dress it up by pairing it with heels, however, you can get a casual look by wearing it with converse.

I hope you enjoyed today’s look. Thanks for following!!

Ellie and El & El →

April 04, 2016 by Briana Smith

Truth be told, I struggle when it comes to styling Ellie’s hair. Her hair is usually out of control. (I struggle when it comes to styling my own hair, let alone a four month old!!) Basically, this headband is a lifesaver. I put it on her head and it instantly makes her hair look cute:) It is a miracle worker!

This headband matches and completes every outfit that we put it with. It is made from a soft nylon material, which allows her to wear it all day. Ellie's headband is from one of my favorite baby shops El & El. Their handmade bows and headbands are high quality and affordable! What more could you ask for?

You need to head over to to elandelshop.com to find this headband and much more! If you use the code "briana" at checkout you will receive 30% off your entire purchase! You do not want to miss out on a deal like this. Offer ends Thursday, head there now!

Bohemian Inspired →

March 31, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

This top from Bohme is an absolute favorite. The boho look is perfect for Spring. I paired the top with white jeans, nude choker and sandals.

White jeans are always a battle for me. I have a love-hate relationship with them. I always think girls look so cute in them but I never like them on me. Does anyone else feel this way?

These jeans are Rock Revival brand. I got them from Buckle a few years back. They are the only white jeans that I actually wear.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed today's look.

Thanks for following!

Easter Weekend

March 28, 2016 by Briana Smith

Easter weekend was once again a success! It was filled with fishing, egg hunts and of course yummy food.

Kody and I were lucky to have both our families come to St. George, to celebrate Easter.

Saturday morning everyone gathered in St. George. We kicked off the weekend by heading to Sandhallow Reservoir to fish and enjoy the sunshine. We had a blast trying to catch fish and playing on the beach.

After the day at the lake we headed to our condo, it was time for the annual easter egg hunts!

We started off the night with the grandchildrens egg hunt. My mom was clever and assigned each grandchild an egg color. All of the cousins had fun looking for their color. Trackan and Remmie (twins) were so cute to help Benson and Ellie find their eggs.

After the kids were done finding eggs, it was time for the adults... Game on! My mom handed out the flashlights and explained the rules. As soon as the rules were explained, the elbows came out. We all raced to find the eggs.

My mom and dad put "numbers" and "bonus" pieces of paper in each egg. If we opened an egg with a "bonus" we were able to run to the prize table and pick an item, if it was a number we kept had to keep it until the end. All the couples were allowed one golden egg.

After the eggs were found, we gathered together. My mom randomly selected numbers, if you had the matching number you won $1-$50!

Then it was time to find out who found the golden egg with a $100 bill.. For the first time in the history of the Lemon egg hunt, Katie and Kalan did not win! Kody and I did! We were so excited!

Everyone left richer, but my little sister Kenlie was the overall winner.

The Easter egg hunt is a little out of control, but it is a tradition that everyone looks forward to.

Easter weekend ended by wearing our new dresses to church and remembering the true meaning of Easter.

The weekend was a success.  Our family had fun being together, fishing, hunting for eggs and eating yummy food. Easter 2016 was an Easter we will never forget!

What did you do this weekend? Do you have any fun Easter traditions? If so, comment below! I would love to hear from you!

(I dropped Ellie's heart shaped sunglasses and they broke:( Luckily, Grandma Pam bought her another pair for Easter! That is why there are pictures of two different sunglasses... Just in case you were wondering:)

My Easter outfit was super casual. I wanted to wear something comfortable and cute. So, I went to my asymmetric tee, baby blue cap, Ray-Bans, and of course my converse.

Easter

March 21, 2016 by Briana Smith in Fashion

Can you believe Easter is this week? Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It is a weekend full of family traditions.

Mine and Kodys’ families are pretty elaborate when it comes to Easter. Easter weekend is spent riding ATV's, eating dutch oven, and of course the annual egg hunts.

The Lemon’s and Smith’s are competitive people. So, we can’t do the traditional Easter egg hunts. Our families have to add a competitive edge to the hunts. What makes people extremely competitive? Money.. Yes, that’s right, the Easter Bunny puts money in plastic eggs and hides them outside. To make the hunt difficult, we are all given flashlights and have to find the eggs in the dark. It is literally a rat race between the siblings. When all the eggs are collected, everyone adds up their loot to determine who the winner is. We all go home a little richer then we came, but one person definitely comes out the winner.

Along with the event filled weekend, my mom would always buy my sisters and I an Easter Dress. For as long as I can remember, I would wake up to a new dress on Easter Sunday. This is one of my favorite memories. So of course, I had to continue it with Ellie (and me;).

This flutter sleeve wrap dress from Bohme is the perfect Easter dress. The pastel blue just screams Spring. The only decision I had while buying it, was deciding what color I wanted. It comes in this pastel blue, rose pink, and cream.

Shopping for an Easter dress for Ellie was honestly a dream come true. I am so glad I had a baby girl! She is so much fun to shop for! Grandma Pam (Kody’s mom) and I found this dress at Janie and Jack. After seeing it, we couldn’t pass it up.  We are so glad we purchased it, because look how pretty she looks!

I am so excited for this Easter weekend. Kodys’ and my family are coming to St. George. It will be a weekend spent fishing, camping, riding ATV’s, winning the Easter egg hunt, and of course eating yummy food!

What are your plans? Do you have any fun Easter traditions? Comment below!

Thanks for following:)
